Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
Uploop (“we”, “us”) is a web app that creates short vertical videos and, if you choose, posts them to social media accounts you connect. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have. If you have questions, email lbatkova30@gmail.com.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and login details when you sign up.
- Billing information: your plan and subscription status. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
- Content you provide: video topics, themes, schedules, settings, links you paste and videos you upload for clipping.
- Content we generate for you: scripts, images, voiceovers, captions and finished videos.
- Connected social accounts: when you connect YouTube, TikTok or Instagram, we receive an access token from that platform plus basic profile information (channel or account ID, display name and profile picture).
- Technical data: basic logs (such as IP address, browser type and error reports) needed to run and secure the service.
How we use your information
- To create, store and deliver the videos you ask for.
- To publish videos to the accounts you connected, at the times you scheduled.
- To manage your account, credits and subscription.
- To keep the service secure, fix problems and provide support.
- To send important service emails (for example about your account or billing).
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your data for advertising.
Connected platforms: YouTube, TikTok and Instagram
Uploop uses the YouTube API Services, the TikTok Content Posting API and the Instagram API. By connecting an account you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy, as well as TikTok's and Meta's terms and privacy policies.
We only request the permissions needed to:
- read your channel or account name and picture, so you can see which account is connected; and
- upload and publish the videos you created in Uploop to that account.
We do not read, download or analyse your other videos, comments, messages, subscribers or analytics. Access tokens are stored encrypted and are used only to publish your videos.
Uploop's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can disconnect an account at any time on the Autopilot page, which deletes its stored tokens. You can also revoke Uploop's access directly: for Google/YouTube at myaccount.google.com/permissions, for TikTok and Instagram in each app's settings under connected or authorized apps.
Service providers we share data with
We share data only with providers that help us run Uploop, and only what they need:
- Supabase: database, login and file storage.
- Stripe: payments and subscriptions.
- OpenAI and Anthropic: generating scripts, images, voiceovers and transcripts from your inputs.
- ElevenLabs and fal.ai: premium voices and animated scenes.
- Pexels and Pixabay: stock footage searches (no personal data is sent).
- YouTube, TikTok and Instagram: only when you ask us to publish a video there.
- Our hosting providers, to run the website and video processing.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
How long we keep data
- Account data and your videos: for as long as your account is active.
- Videos uploaded for clipping: deleted from our storage once your clips are made.
- Social account tokens: until you disconnect the account or delete your Uploop account.
- Billing records: as long as required by tax and accounting law.
Your rights and choices
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to or restrict how we use it. To delete your account and data, follow the steps on our data deletion page or email lbatkova30@gmail.com. If you are in the EU/EEA or UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We use encryption in transit, encrypted storage of social account tokens and access controls so that each user can only see their own data. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
Uploop is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in the app.
